Tiny Sense Re-Purpose and Enlarge Small Everyday Objects

Wanting to explore the neglected details of things in every day life, taiwanese product-designers SzuHsuan Wu, Yeelon Lin, YuChien Liu, have developed �Tiny Sense�. The project transforms common house-hold items by enlarging them, asking people to examine the object in a different way. The designers believe that the busyness of life in modern society has meant one is always �on the go� rushing from one place to the next, with a feeling that something is missing.. �Tiny Sense� is based around the idea of slowing down and appreciating the small things in life. Through delicate observations using a magnifying glass, little objects are scaled-up and a new purpose imagined. The transformed items are commonly used pieces; pencils are turned into a vase now able to hold flowers, a button functions as a seat and a ruler becomes a full height mirror. The product�s original characteristics � lines, materials and details are still maintained, but a new meaning is created with the hope that subtleties won�t be overlooked any longer.
