Unique creations with a strong visual impact for a viewer attentive to different forms of expression, who does not stop only to look
Deconstruction and reconstruction are the two founding actions of the art of Emanuel Bullita, a Milanese artist and founder of MOØ-N, which he himself defines as a “container and brand of ideas, artistic achievements and different styles, united by the desire to discover, communicate, experiment”.
His artistic path is well defined and has seen him move in a multifaceted search for techniques and inspirations: from the use of pencil to digital illustration up to the much-loved collage where the visual suggestions proposed by Bullita reach a strong visual impact.
Plexiglass is also the base he uses to make his creations even more dynamic, which seem to float in space
But how does one of his collages come about?
“Collage deserves an in-depth study for the way it is made. Starting from the choice of the subject, which sometimes takes shape only in the execution phase, up to the search for the card. Paper, in fact, has different textures, consistencies and porosity, taken strictly from newspapers, magazines and fashion catalogs. With the cropping and editing of the image, everything passes through my hands and so I can also insert my feelings into the work. For the backgrounds I look for the same shade of color, for example black. Based on the weight, the composition of the color itself, the images printed behind that color and the glossy/matte finish, I select and compose the base, which will be black, but which, thanks to the different type of paper, will create an unexpected chromatic diversity and depth of image.”
It is with these words that the artist describes the many phases that give life to his collages where, every piece of paper, every image chosen, represents, not a coincidence, but an inspiration that tells his personality and his being.
Driven by curiosity and the desire to bring what he feels to life, he stops at nothing. He lets himself be guided by his sensations, without paying too much attention to objective beauty. He showcases his ideas through different forms and styles, inviting the viewer to draw, without hesitation, his own conclusions.
