Hysteria Art Gallery is back at ArtePadova!

Six pavilions of paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs of one of the most important Modern and Contemporary Art Market Exhibitions in Italy

After the suspension of 2020, ArtePadova, one of the historic and longest-running market exhibitions in the sector in Italy, is preparing to restart with an even wider and more varied exhibition offer to celebrate its 31st edition in the best possible way.

The protagonists of this edition will be over 300 exhibitors from all over the peninsula and also from London, with more than 15,000 works distributed over 6 pavilions (1-3-4-7-8 and gallery 78) exhibited in a separate exhibition in two parts:

Main Section, where internationally renowned gallery owners will be present with works of absolute value to offer a broad synthesis of the artistic expressions and currents that have made the history of the twentieth century. Hundreds of authors are represented here mainly through paintings, but also with sculptures, photographs, digital art, graphics, installations; including many examples of the historic big
names on the international scene;

C.A.T.S. Contemporary Art Talent, which instead proposes a more heterogeneous and deliberately eclectic vision of multiple forms of art having as a common denominator the cost of less than 5,000 euros. It is an exhibition entrusted to about 140 exhibitors including galleries, associations, independent artists and collectives from all over Italy and Denmark. A project that gives emerging artists (not necessarily young) an important showcase by bringing together supply and demand for art at low prices; at the same time it stimulates the public to buy art objects that will certainly increase their value over time.

Among gallery owners, there are new entries and many reconfirmations after long periods of absence, proving that the role of trade fairs is by no means in decline: especially in the case of art, which makes visual contact and face-to-face dialogue with gallery owners essential.

And among the reconfirmations there will also be the Hysteria Art art gallery with its artists.

We will find the artist/sculptor Giuliano Cataldo Giancotti with his “architectures of time”, works that combine inspirations drawn on the road with reflections on the transformations of Italian architecture; the colorful and graceful world of the Japanese artist Tomoko Nagao, counted among the most interesting exponents of Japanese New Pop; the artist Michele Tombolini and his Social Pop-Art, through which he focuses his creative research on an approach made up of bright colors and contemporary images, maintaining a level of interpretation that reflects a strong interest in social dynamics; and not only that…

There will also be the debut of important and interesting new entries, which we are sure will leave their mark. Among them: the irreverent artist Max Papeschi who through digital art creates allegorical scenarios where the evocation of familiar figures hide subliminal messages that ridicule our fears and reveal all the paradoxes of global capitalism and the Chinese artist Liw Volpini with his ethereal worlds, imaginary landscapes, micro habitats that express the thin line between lightness and restlessness, between Zen and obsessions.

SPOILER ALERT: it will be a stand that will absolutely not go unnoticed.

We look forward to seeing you from 12 to 15 November 2021 at the Padua exhibition center. Don’t miss it!
