Nicolas Thomkins, born in 1953 in Ascona, Switzerland and based in Germany, is an internationally renowned designer with a deep knowledge of materials and obsessive attention to detail. Its design focuses on the 360° product and the user’s sensory experience by applying high standards of ergonomics and the pursuit of well-being.
Since 2014 he has been part of Higold’s design team, creating several original projects that have led him to win countless awards in international design competitions, such as the Red Dot Design Award, one of the largest and most important world design awards that every year rewards the exceptional quality of designers and manufacturers.
