Anastassiadis: the Brazilian studio that blends elegance, identity and international design

From luxury hotels to residential projects, Patricia Anastassiadis' studio brings sophisticated Made in Brasil design to the world

The Anastassiadis architecture and interior design studio, based in São Paulo, Brazil, is today one of the leading names in the international luxury architecture and interior design scene. Founded in 1993 by architect and designer Patricia Anastassiadis, the studio is renowned for its ability to create timeless projects, capable of transmitting authentic emotions through unique spaces consistent with the cultural context.
The Anastassiadis signature is synonymous with refinement, identity and design narration. Thanks to a multicultural team of over 35 architects, the studio is able to combine global influences and local know-how, particularly in its numerous projects related to the world of high-end hotels.

Iconic projects in Brazil, the Caribbean, the United States and Europe
One of the most representative examples of Anastassiadis’ language is the Palácio Tangará in São Paulo, inaugurated in 2017. Located within the Burle Marx park, the luxury hotel of the Oetker Collection expresses a perfect balance between European aesthetics and Brazilian references. The studio took care of all the common areas, including the restaurant by Jean-Georges Vongerichten and the Sisley-Paris spa, creating an atmosphere that combines local materials and custom-made furnishings.

Abroad, Anastassiadis stood out for the Jumby Bay project in Antigua, completed in 2019. The Caribbean resort, also part of the Oetker Collection, expresses tropical elegance through rattan furnishings, natural textures and light shades inspired by the seascape. The interior design of the common areas is a celebration of the laid-back luxury typical of exclusive destinations.
In the heart of Miami Beach, the studio has designed the interiors of 57 Ocean, an 18-story residential tower that combines contemporary design and sophisticated materials. The project, which is nearing completion, stands out for its use of high-end furniture and site-specific light installations, with particular attention to the dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces.
In Rio de Janeiro, Anastassiadis curated the Fairmont Copacabana, the brand’s first hotel in South America. Opened in 2019, the intervention takes up the glamour of Rio in the 50s, mixing understated elegance with elements of contemporary Brazilian design.

A recognizable identity on the global
scene
Patricia Anastassiadis’ approach is based on a constant search for materials, a sensitivity to art, history and anthropology, and a great attention to the narration of the place. Each project reflects a coherent vision, in which design, craftsmanship and cultural memory come together in spaces with a strong emotional impact.
Thanks to the quality of its work, the Anastassiadis studio is now a partner of brands such as Four Seasons, Fairmont, Ritz-Carlton, Hilton and Jean-Georges, confirming itself as one of the protagonists of international interior design with a Brazilian soul.
