Buster + Punch are a London-born design label characterized by boldness and elegance, as proved by its LED Buster Bulbs. The main aims of the project were make LED sexy and create a more useful light bulb that would give off both an ambient warm glow and a focused spot light – something never achieved by a single light bulb before. With a teardrop shape inspired by Edison bulbs and a resin light pipe that creates a crisp, clean quality of light, these bulbs available in gold, smoke and crystal are designed down to the details to be actual design items beside their crucial function.
Employing LED technology is not just a new trend in the design lamp field but an actual commitment dating back to 2009, when governments across the world passed measures to phase out incandescent & filament light bulbs in favour of more energy-efficient lighting alternatives. Over the last 6 years the LED alternative has proved to be the only successful option for the world’s modern green approach. Modernity is in fact the key factor of today’s project, designed by a revolutionary brand that decided to be the first independent design label to produce the world’s first designer LED bulb. Buster + Punch are a London-born design label: started in a garage in East London, the brand has now two offices, one in Great Britain’s capital and the other one in Stockholm. Inspired by London’s fashion, music and sub-culture scenes, the label’s work is characterized by boldness and elegance, as proved by its LED Buster Bulbs.

Thanks to the E27 base, they can be used as a direct replacement for standard screw-thread incandescent bulbs, consuming up to 95% less than a ordinary bulb.
