Design Miami.Paris 2025: the future of design collecting between art, matter and senses

From 22 to 26 October, the international fair dedicated to collectible design returns to Paris, with an edition larger and more sensorial than ever

In the world of contemporary design, Design Miami.Paris has now established itself as one of the most anticipated fairs of the year. From 22 to 26 October 2025, the iconic spaces of L’Hôtel de Maisons will welcome the third Parisian edition of the event, coinciding with
Art Basel Paris
, confirming the French capital as the epicenter of design and collectible art.
The event, now in its twentieth global anniversary, celebrates design as a cultural language capable of combining craftsmanship, innovation and sensory research. As CEO Jen Roberts explained, “this edition represents a return to the origins, in a place that perfectly embodies the creative and architectural soul of Paris.”

A journey through matter, emotion and culture
This year’s fair will host over 40 international galleries and a Design at Large program that has never been so rich. The 2025 theme, Activate the Senses, invites us to explore how design can stimulate perceptions, memories and narratives through materials and forms.
Among the exhibitions not to be missed:
Hostler Burrows (New York), with Frida Fjellman’s dreamlike installations, which blend light, glass and nature in a contemporary rococo vision;
Daguet-Bresson (Paris), with the fantastic sculptures of Timothée Humbert, between folklore and imagination;
Pierre Marie Giraud (Brussels), which brings together artists from Europe, Japan and the United States to explore material identity in contemporary design.
The Lebreton gallery (Munich) will instead offer a journey into post-war French ceramics, while Galerie Mitterrand will stage the works of Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne alongside the works of their artistic heir Julie Hamisky.

The masters of modernism and the new avant-gardes
There will be no shortage of the great names of the twentieth century, such as Jean Royère (Galerie Patrick Seguin) and Pierre Paulin (Meubles et Lumières), alongside contemporary names such as Ronan Bouroullec, Gabriella Crespi and Hanne Friis, present in the spaces of Galerie kreo, Nilufar and Maria Wettergren.
The result is a path that intertwines memory and experimentation, where design becomes the story of different eras, cultures and sensibilities.

Design at Large: the multisensory experience
Inside and in the gardens of L’Hôtel de Maisons, installations by James de Wulf, Satyendra Pakhalé and Vikram Goyal will offer immersive experiences in which sound, light and matter merge in a dialogue between art and perception.

An appointment for professionals and enthusiasts
With the participation of partners such as Apple, Four Seasons and Manufactures nationales, Design Miami.Paris 2025 confirms itself as a meeting point for designers, architects and collectors from all over the world.
An event that not only tells the story of design, but transforms it into a cultural, aesthetic and sensory experience.
