The project was conceived and designed by Marcantonio for Multiforme, with the intention of celebrating artistic and artisanal memory in an object that we could define as pop. A design jewel that conquers for its simplicity of use and ease of declination in multiple forms of furniture.
It is an iconic and one-of-a-kind bulb model. The body of the bulb is embellished with blown Murano glass details that give incomparable liveliness, color and light reflections. On closer inspection, beyond the functionality of the bulb, the model hides an allure of a jewel of classic and refined mixture.

Designer Marcantonio explains it perfectly:
“I always try to use subjects from memory and reinterpret them, giving them a new value. In this case the idea was born from the love for the processing of Murano glass and the memory of the light bulb, an icon of lighting, combining these two essences Murano Bulb was born.
It seemed great to me to have a “simple” bulb that had the glass processing directly on its glass surface, instead of buying a chandelier you can screw the Murano Bulb wherever you prefer.”
Thanks to this versatility of use and the eccentric but aesthetically harmonious design, they are objects that can be well present in any home, capturing attention and becoming a focal point. In fact, light bulbs play with contrasts, so classic furnishings find a bold counterpart, while modern styles acquire value and refinement.

Two entrances framed by golden contours are portals to be crossed: fantastic passages to a magical place, flooded with light and iconic shapes of Murano glassmaking. The bulbs fill the space like colorful, evocative and versatile jewels, unique in their unrepeatable manual processing.
Thanks to its privileged position inside the Fondaco dei Tedeschi, Murano Bulb becomes an integral part of a unique historical and cultural context, where modernity blends harmoniously with tradition.
