Open Studio Vol.3: contemporary art returns to Rho with “Nudi d’anima, sciame di istanti”

A lively laboratory between exhibitions, performances and workshops to enhance the territory and emerging creativity

The third edition of Open Studio, the group exhibition conceived and hosted by the artist Giuliano Cataldo Giancotti at his artistic laboratory Lab Giancotti in via Angelo Minotti 7, in Rho (Milan), opens its doors on June 16, 2025. The title chosen for this edition, “Nudi d’anima, sciame di istanti”, curated by Chiara Di Niccolò, encapsulates the essence of an event that aims to celebrate the most authentic and experimental dimension of art.
Open Studio Vol.3
is configured as a unique opportunity in which the public can enter directly into the creative space of an artist, not only to admire the works on display, but to experience the atmosphere of the artistic process in progress. In addition to the works of Giancotti himself – including sculptures and work in progress projects – the exhibition will feature the works of eight artists: Andrea Alessandro, Andrea Bertoletti (Berto191), Carolina Grosa, Daniele Locci, Edoardo Meda, Emanuele Gregolin, Francesca Trinchero and Lorenzo Zuccato.
The opening night on June 16, from 20:30 to 23:00, will be enriched by live music with the DJ set of Double D, interviews with the artists and moments of direct exchange with the public. But the event is not limited to the opening: the exhibition will remain open until June 29, with visiting hours every Friday (15:00–18:30), Saturday and Sunday (9:30–13:00 and 15:00–18:00).

The Open Studio 2025 program also includes special events. On June 20 , a performative evening is scheduled by the WHY NOT collective, with live artistic interventions. On the weekend of 28 and 29 June there will be drawing and dance workshops, designed to actively involve the public and encourage the encounter between different artistic disciplines.
Open Studio Vol.3
will also have a second exhibition venue at the Quadrifoglio Gallery in Rho, with a parallel layout curated by Matteo Olivares, demonstrating the desire to create a lively and widespread cultural network in the area.
This new edition of Open Studio confirms itself as a precious opportunity to get in touch with emerging creativity, promoting art as a shared, inclusive and deeply human practice. An event not to be missed for those who love contemporary art and want to live a direct, authentic and participatory experience.
