Rome International Art Fair 2025: art, identity and landscapes of the future in the capital

An intense and international edition that has put Rome at the center of the debate on contemporary art

The 13th edition of the Rome International Art Fair, one of the most interesting events on the contemporary art scene in Rome, ended on March 27th. From 14 to 27 March 2025, the fair animated the spaces of the Medina Art Gallery in Via Angelo Poliziano, offering visitors a journey through visual languages, installations and reflections on the cultural and urban transformations of our time.
Curated and organized by ITSLIQUID Group, the 2025 edition offered two thematic sections of strong impact: Mixing Identities and Future Landscapes. The first explored the concept of identity as a changing and stratified phenomenon, investigating the relationships between the individual, the body and society. A path that involved the public through immersive works, photographs, video art and installations with a contemporary and introspective language.
The second section, Future Landscapes, projected the gaze towards the idea of landscape as a mental, social and urban space in continuous evolution. The works on display – abstract, conceptual, often multisensory – proposed a reflection on the future of the environment, on the interaction between nature and technology, and on the transformation of contemporary cities.

Rome International Art Fair has once again distinguished itself for its international and interdisciplinary vocation. More than fifty artists, from all over the world, participated in the event bringing heterogeneous languages and innovative approaches. Painting, sculpture, photography, digital art and performance were intertwined in an immersive exhibition experience, designed to stimulate dialogue between the public, artists, gallery owners and curators.
The official opening, held on March 14, saw a lively participation by professionals in the sector and art enthusiasts, creating an atmosphere of discussion and exchange that accompanied the entire duration of the exhibition. There were also numerous side meetings, which enriched the cultural offer of the event with talks, guided tours and networking moments.
With this edition, Rome International Art Fair has confirmed its role as an independent cultural platform, capable of enhancing new artistic trends and strengthening Rome’s role as an international crossroads for contemporary art.
The free admission and the quality of the curatorial proposal made the fair a unique opportunity to discover new artists, confront innovative visions and reflect on the great themes of the present. An appointment to mark in the agenda also for the next editions, for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the world of art with an open and contemporary gaze.
