Keeping it always sanitized, and in perfect order, means making it ready to welcome any guest. At the same time, a tidy bathroom responds to the relaxation needs required by those who enter the room for a shower, a make-up session or moments dedicated to beard care. All this also means taking design into account. However, a few small tricks are enough to obtain a comfortable bathroom that is impeccable from an aesthetic point of view. Painting the walls
Those who are familiar with paints, and are used to taking care of the whitewashing of the rooms with their own hands, can think of renovating the bathroom by painting the walls in new colors. A large bathroom, in which natural light ensures the right lighting throughout the day, would benefit from strong tones: from yellow to orange, from green to blue, up to turquoise. No less important than painting, as can be guessed from what has just been written, are the choices relating to lighting. The lights, in fact, are able to give a pleasant atmosphere to the bathroom. In the presence of a small room, and perhaps without windows, lights are the key element. First of all, the sink needs good lighting: LED mirror lamps will prove to be an optimal option. As for the shower cubicle, however, it is advisable to opt for minimally invasive light points. It is better to opt for LED lights (green, red or blue) capable of generating a soft beam, which is well suited to a part of the house dedicated to relaxation. Remember, however, to choose according to the style of the room and the shades used for the walls. By doing so, those who cross the threshold of the bathroom, and turn on the lights, will not be able to help but appreciate the result.
Sanitary ware: new taps for a change of look
Another suggestion for people tired of entering the “usual” bathroom is to proceed with the purchase of new taps. The market is now full of proposals, with models ready to satisfy all tastes and every need. Focusing on the classic, but with a pinch of innovation, you can adopt brass taps, perfect when combined with white sanitary ware. If the intention is to give a breath of modernity to the room, you can consider the choice of taps with an elongated design. How to remember the Provençal style, or veer towards vintage? Still opting for brass, but preferring a traditional design. At that point, it will be possible to make further small changes, perhaps by replacing a towel rack or adding one or more shelves.
To offer yourself and your guests an even more hospitable home, you don’t necessarily have to plan long, complex and expensive work. Speaking of the bathroom, as seen in the previous paragraphs, even a simple paint on the walls will give a different look. Playing with lights, moving or adding mirrors and carpets, completing the furniture with shelves on which to place small knick-knacks are other ideal solutions for those who have little time available, or for people who can count on a rather limited budget.
