Design meets painting in a 500 square meter space in Romes San Lorenzo district. The place, owned by Valentina De Martini, used to be a u-shaped workshop before Luca Braguglia designed its renovation. An enchanting space where every detail counts, featuring many different styles without overwhelming the essential design framework. Every element seems to toss toward the garden, where a lilac staircase links the apartment to a roof terrace. White color takes over the interior walls, enhancing the big owners paintings (2.40 meters x 42 cm) depicting female silhouettes wrapped in refined dresses.

The kitchen presents a wise mix between modern design, natural hues and steel elements. The all white look, which recurs in the bedroom area as well, is jazzed up by ethnic and vivid pieces such as the studio Indian ancient door, the banana tree wood coffee table and Luis Ochoa’s paintings. A perfect example of the refurbishment of an industrial place, with an almost door-less result merging living and working spaces, as proved by the stunning studio’s wood and steel table facing a huge glass wall.
