Venice 2025: great cinema meets high-end outdoor design

The Venice Film Festival is back with its 82nd edition with glamour, international premieres and exclusive spaces dedicated to hospitality

From August 28 to September 7, 2025, the Lido of Venice will once again be the stage for the Venice International Film Festival, now in its 82nd edition. The event, one of the most eagerly awaited on the global cultural calendar, celebrates auteur cinema with films in competition, world premieres, meetings, masterclasses and a catwalk full of international stars.
The unique atmosphere of the Venice Film Festival is not only thanks to the films: every detail, from the hospitality spaces to the sets of the collateral events, is taken care of to offer memorable experiences. Among the most successful examples of past editions, the Hot Corner space set up at the Hotel Des Bains was one of the most photographed and frequented places of the festival. In this context, outdoor furniture has played a fundamental role in creating a refined, welcoming environment that is perfectly in tune with the Venetian charm.

In the 2024 edition, high-end outdoor design showed its most spectacular side: sofas, armchairs and accessories in resistant materials and technical fabrics offered comfort and style to directors, actors and journalists during more than 100 interviews. Among the guests who have lived the experience of the Hot Corner are Claude Lelouch, Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Pupi Avati, Kiyoshi Kurosawa, Edoardo Leo, and many other protagonists of international cinema.
As the new edition approaches, anticipation is growing for the 2025 red carpet, which promises presences of great appeal: from Lady Gaga to Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Joaquin Phoenix, Catherine Deneuve, up to directors such as Tim Burton, who will open the Festival with his highly anticipated Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
Also in 2025, the link between cinema and design will be at the center of the most exclusive experiences: hospitality spaces, private events and press areas become sets in which luxury outdoor furniture is not only functional, but expresses an aesthetic consistent with the style and quality of the event.
The Venice Film Festival, in fact, is increasingly a laboratory where culture, luxury and creativity meet. And it is precisely in these connections that contemporary interior and outdoor design finds new meanings, demonstrating its ability to interpret the languages of fashion, cinema and international hospitality.
