After a 2013 edition that reached an audience of 300.000 people, this year the festival features a 15000 square meter exhibit space, hosted at the capital&rsquo;s <strong>Artplay Design Center<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>As always, the event focuses on a central theme on which professionals and design-lovers meditate: for this year the Moscow Design Week has chosen <strong>Innovation to save the planet<\/strong>. As we&rsquo;ve witnessed on the occasion of other significant on-topic events, Moscow tries to create a discussion around design aimed at understanding how it can help the planet. Many well-known designers such as <strong>Philippe Starck <\/strong>and<strong> Marteen Baas<\/strong> are participating in the Moscovite festival to be part of the debate, proving the growing international value of the event. Sustainability is also the main topic of the <strong>Press Village 2014<\/strong>, in a dialogue between local and European media aimed at fighting the current ecological crisis.<\/p>","testo_b":"<p>The program of Moscow Design Week &ndash; on from October 14 to 19 &ndash; is once again massive, featuring famous happenings like <strong>Design Superheroes<\/strong> as well as new entries such as <strong>Light&amp;Bright<\/strong>. The festival involves the whole city, its museums, shops, restaurants and universities where young emerging designers are showcasing their creations.
