From November 6 to 28, 2024, Enoteca Cuvée Winexperience<\/strong><\/a> in Milan hosts In Viaggio – Works by Antonio Franchi<\/em>, an exhibition inviting visitors to explore a world of emotions through the evocative use of color. Organized by Independent Artists<\/strong><\/a> in collaboration with Cuvée Winexperience and Hysteria Art Gallery<\/strong><\/a>, the exhibition opens on Wednesday, November 6, at 7:00 PM<\/strong>, bringing the vibrant, abstract world of the Sienese artist directly into the daily life of the public.

Antonio Franchi<\/strong><\/a>, born in Siena in 1968, is an artist with a unique background. After completing classical studies and a degree in Law, he pursued his artistic vocation at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan. His career took a significant turn at the turn of the millennium when he began exploring action painting<\/strong> and abstract expressionism<\/strong>, inspired by the great American masters. His encounter with Eugenio Carmi<\/strong> in 2014 further refined his approach to painting, bringing out a personal, abstract language rich with meaning.

Franchi’s artworks are an invitation to journey beyond the simple visual representation of places. At the heart of his artistic philosophy is color, dense and textured, which replaces form to become the principal element.<\/strong> Through the use of spatulas of varying sizes and the layering of fresh paint, Franchi creates works in which the chromatic choices not only reflect the physicality of the depicted place but also evoke the memories and perceptions each of us associates with that space.
