The project represents much more than a simple space dedicated to catering: it is an immersive experience where design, light and matter dialogue to evoke the authentic atmosphere of the Greek islands.
Inspired by the myth of the phoenix and the natural rhythm of the transition between day and night, FENIX Mayfair was created with the aim of transporting guests into a sophisticated yet welcoming environment, capable of combining Mediterranean culture with a contemporary vision of hospitality design. The space is developed inside a historic building characterized by a Twenties façade in Portland stone, an architectural element that has profoundly influenced the entire design concept.
One of the most fascinating aspects of the project is the use of light as a narrative element. Studio WYZE worked on the creation of fluid and interconnected environments through sculptural plaster arches, material surfaces and a neutral color palette that recalls the shades of Mediterranean Greece. The result is an elegant and sensory space, where the transition from the bar area to the restaurant takes place in a natural and harmonious way.
At the center of the restaurant is the open kitchen with open-fire grill, conceived as the scenic centerpiece of the dining experience. The depth of the space, initially considered a design challenge for managing natural light, has been transformed into a strength thanks to the collaboration with INTO Lighting. A decorative wall backlit with Greek bricks creates dynamic lighting that follows the rhythm of the sun, changing the atmosphere throughout the day.
Great attention has also been paid to materials and craftsmanship. Decorative walls in breeze blocks from Greece, custom terrazzo floors, lava stone surfaces and bronze details help define a sophisticated yet authentic aesthetic. Each element tells of a precise research linked to the theme of contemporary craftsmanship and discreet luxury.
According to Studio WYZE founders Christina Arbenz and Chris Sayce, the project stems from the desire to recreate in London the sense of conviviality typical of a meeting on the Greek islands: a place where guests can slow down, relax and experience the restaurant as an emotional as well as functional space.
With FENIX Mayfair, design is not just decoration but becomes an integral part of the gastronomic experience. The project demonstrates how the world of contemporary interior design is evolving towards increasingly experiential environments, capable of involving the senses through light, materials, sounds and atmosphere.
The end result is a perfect balance between London elegance and Mediterranean warmth, where hospitality, culture and design coexist in a coherent and refined narrative. FENIX Mayfair thus establishes itself as a new reference destination for the panorama of international catering and high-end hospitality design.

INFO: Amber Weir – Tomorrow PR

65951,65953,65955,65957,65959,65961
["GET
