The collection, consisting of the Fumi Companion Set and the Fumi Log Holder, represents one of the most important evolutions of the brand in the last ten years and introduces a new approach to the world of fireplace accessories, where functionality, aesthetics and craftsmanship coexist in perfect balance.
Designed to meet the needs of contemporary homes and modern heating systems, the Fumi collection stands out for its essential but refined design language. In fact, more and more people are choosing compact and efficient stoves, requiring lighter and more versatile accessories than traditional complete fireplace sets. Eldvarm interprets this evolution through objects that maintain high quality standards and a strong aesthetic identity.
The project stems from the encounter between the Nordic minimalism of Eldvarm and the formal sensibility of Guillaume Delvigne, a French designer known for his refined and architectural approach to the product. The result is a collection that combines contemporary design, pure geometries and authentic materials, giving life to objects capable of becoming true decorative elements within the domestic space.
The Fumi Companion Set is inspired by traditional Japanese fan brushes with a long handle. This suggestion translates into a series of soft and rounded shapes that define the entire visual language of the collection. According to Delvigne, the goal was to create tools that were beautiful to show off as well as functional for everyday use. The accessories are in fact conceived almost as sculptural works inserted within a geometric frame.
Particular attention has been paid to the enhancement of craftsmanship. The connections between the components are not hidden, but deliberately left visible to emphasize the authentic character of the objects. The visible screws, together with the combination of powder-coated steel, wood and brass details, tell a sincere and durable aesthetic. This choice is not only aesthetic, but also functional: each component can be replaced over time, helping to extend the life cycle of the product and reinforcing the brand's sustainable philosophy.
Alongside the Companion Set, the collection includes the new Fumi Log Holder, a wood holder with essential geometric lines that incorporates the same formal language as the series. Made of bent and painted steel, the complement combines visual lightness and structural solidity. While it is primarily designed to hold firewood, its versatile design also allows it to be used as a storage for magazines, textiles, or household accessories.
The strength of the collection lies precisely in the balance between functionality and design. Clean surfaces, natural materials and industrial precision coexist with warm and material details, creating sophisticated yet accessible objects. This harmony perfectly reflects the encounter between French elegance and Scandinavian simplicity that defines the collaboration between Eldvarm and Delvigne.
According to Louise Varre, founder of the brand, the project represents a new confirmation of the company's philosophy: to create essential but never banal products, designed to last over time both aesthetically and functionally.
The choice of materials also reinforces this vision. The Fumi Companion Set uses painted steel, walnut, brass and natural fibers such as tampico and horsehair, while the Log Holder combines steel, wood and metal details in a refined and minimal composition. Both products are available in different color finishes, including Noir, Terre and Blanc.
Founded in 2015 in Stockholm and now headquartered in Paris, Eldvarm continues to develop a design language that combines Nordic heritage, European elegance and responsible production. Collaborating with small artisan workshops and favoring sustainable materials, the brand transforms simple domestic objects into elements with a strong emotional and decorative value.
With the Fumi collection, Eldvarm therefore confirms its ability to reinterpret the world of fireplace accessories through a contemporary, sophisticated vision deeply linked to the quality of domestic living.

INFO/PHOTO COURTESY: Charlotte Strudwick – Charlotte Strudwick PR
66127,66129,66131
["GET
