Con #chambres Ilaria da’ vita a quadri materici che sono quello che resta di corpi interiori.
\nNelle mani di Ilaria pelle gesso e colori diventano vere e proprie sculture viventi. I suoi corpi vengono ricoperti di gesso per essere poi rimosso ottenendo la sensazione del distacco dalla tela per scoprire cosa ha preso forma. Il corpo resta contratto in un\ufffdimplosione dentro e su se stesso.
\nLe opere realizzate da Ilaria Bochicchio mostrano un legame profondo con la performance, poich\ufffd provengono direttamente da un impulso irrazionale, dove corpi indolenti, si muovono nelle loro stanze e dice in merito: “La materia rende pesanti le masse di carne composte da strati di colore annullati sotto l\ufffdinvolucro bianco. Sessuali, asessuati, erotici, si trascinano lenti con la pesantezza dell\ufffdabbandono e con la disinvoltura della nudit\ufffd.”<\/p>\n

With #Chambres Ilaria gives birth to material paintings that are what\ufffds left of interior bodies.
\nIn Ilaria\ufffds hands, skin, plaster and colors become real living sculptures. Her bodies are covered by gesso then removed, the result is the feeling of detachment from the canvas for finding what has gained shape. The body remains contracted in an implosion inside and over itself.
\nThe artworks realized by Ilaria Bochicchio show a deep connection with performance, that\ufffds because they come directly from an irrational impulse, where apathetic bodies move in their rooms, and the artist tells us about it: \ufffdThe matter makes the mass composed by layers of color canceled under the white shell.
