Antonio Franchi \u00e8 nato il 23 giugno 1968 a Siena, dove svolge studi classici e si laurea in Giurisprudenza. Vive e lavora a Milano e a Firenze.
\nComincia a disegnare e a dipingere nell\u0092adolescenza a Siena, ispirandosi a temi figurativi. Negli anni 80\/90 frequenta il Maestro Roberto Corsini, pittore figurativo, nella cornice suggestiva di Lipari e negli anni \u009290 incontra, a Siena, Antonio Tropeano, esperto di arte moderna e contemporanea, pittore e scultore, con il quale inizia a dedicarsi allo studio del colore.
\nNel 1998 \u00e8 a Londra, dove inizia lo studio della pittura informale e nel 2001 \u00e8 a New York dove gli si rivelano i \u0093grandi americani\u0094. Nel 2006 incontra il pittore fiorentino Alvaro Baragli.
\nIn quel periodo nasce la \u0093sintesi aerea\u0094, espressionismo astratto che si manifesta attraverso accese luminosit\u00e0 coloristiche e campiture sorrette da un\u0092idea di definizione geometrica. I colori vivi della sua tavolozza incontrano, in una profusione dinamica di materia informale, i territori di tutto il mondo!
\nL\u0092uso del colore rappresenta l\u0092attaccamento alla propria terra e ai luoghi ai quali Antonio Franchi \u00e8 in qualche maniera legato ed \u00e8 proprio il colore che obbliga l\u0092osservatore ad immergersi in quel mondo fantastico, dove ognuno riesce a trovare una parte di s\u00e9.
\nSulla tela, in un riversare di materia magmatica, quasi ad essere vulcanica, vengono trasferite le emozioni (il pathos di antica memoria greca) suscitate dall\u0092osservazione e dal pensiero. Tutte le umane esperienze non possono prescindere dal \u0093luogo\u0094, che, in una misura spaziale, contribuisce a rendere il nostro vissuto indimenticabile. La magia dei luoghi rappresenta, dunque, uno dei principali fenomeni della vita umana ed \u00e8 con questa consapevolezza che il colore e la materia, in una quantit\u00e0 pervasiva, sono stati prestati a sostanziare la \u0093sintesi aerea\u0094 di Antonio Franchi.<\/p>\n

ANTONIO FRANCHI born on June 23, 1968 in Siena, where he made classical studies and graduated in Law. He took a course in advanced painting at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan.
\nHe lives and works in Milan and Florence.
\nHe starts to design and paint being adolescent in Siena, drawing inspiration from figurative themes. He is close to the Master Roberto Corsini, figurative painter, in the Lipari\u0092s suggestive frame, in the 80\/90\u0092s. In Siena, in the 90\u0092s, meets Antonio Tropeano, an expert in modern and contemporary art, informal painter and sculptor, with whom he starts to study the colours.
\nIn 1998 he is in London, where begins to study the informal painting art and in 2001 he is in New York where becomes familiar with American artists. In 2006 meets the Florentine painter Alvaro Baragli.
\nAt that time rises the \u0093aerial syntesis\u0094 (\u0093sintesi aerea\u0094), abstract Expressionism based on color vibrations, induced by the use of Google Maps and Google Earth, contemporary tools of knowledge, imagination and memory of sites worldwide.
\nThe expression is showed through lit luminosity and coloristic backgrounds supported by an idea of the geometry, which allow the viewers to sink into and to find a part of themselves. The eye of the beholders are caught in an emotional impact catchy and the scenery fantastic, full of color, material, tones and shades made on the canvas is conducive to their own reality.
\nIn each painting the presence of the subject (the site) is only perceived, proposing to everyone, through the work\u0092s title, his reading and empathy in their own experiences and memories.
