Il Concept di questo tavolo \u00e8 un omaggio all\u0092attivit\u00e0 marinara di Taranto, la citt\u00e0 in cui Giuliano Ricciardi vive e lavora. L\u0092ispirazione del progetto nasce dallo scheletro delle imbarcazioni, da cui prende il nome. Ogni componente del tavolo svolge e assolve una determinata funzione: le nove vertebre sostengono il piano in vetro e si uniscono alla trave centrale grazie ad un incastro a coda di rondine. Quest\u0092ultima sostiene la struttura descritta e si poggia su due cavalletti simili a quelli utilizzati per ripristinare le imbarcazioni a secco. L\u0092intero progetto si basa sull\u0092utilizzo di appropriati incastri.<\/p>\n
The Concept of this table is a tribute to the marine activity of Taranto, the town in which Giuliano Ricciardi was born and lives. The inspiration of the project comes from the skeleton of boats, from which the name. Each part of the table has a function: the 9 vertebrae sustain the glass top and join the central beam through a swallow tailed structure. The central beam is set upon two stands that recall those normally used to restore boats in the shipyards.
